Ryan & Andrea: A Perfect Five-Hour Wedding

January 24, 2014  •  1 Comment

How would you feel about having your wedding at 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning?

Not quite that brave?

Remember Ryan and Andrea? They're brave. Really brave.

Their wedding was also one of my favorites from 2013. It was a small ceremony—everyone who came was able to fit into a group photo at the end. Our time was short, only five hours. Even better, I was the only one photographing! No second shooter, no assistant, nada.

And what did we get?

We got perfection. Beauty, love, and some of the best light I've ever seen. (Who knew the W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory was so amazing?) It's not often that I get to shoot such small weddings, but it's a unique pleasure to get to work in such an intimate environment. Five hours with only one photographer usually only works well under special circumstances, and Ryan and Andrea's wedding was the best example of what that sort of package is great for. If you're looking for some ideas for your own intimate wedding, I would highly recommend looking through this one!
