Rock Creek Gardens in Puyallup is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues. The location is beautiful and quiet, and it has a lovely variety of locations screaming for a photographer to capture. This stunning venue was the location of Ryan and Briet’s recent wedding. You may remember them from last year, when we defied the scheduling gods with a bit of book-wedding-shoot-engagement-photos-have-ready-before-you-leave-in-3-days wizardry.

Briet told us in a consultation meeting that if her wedding had a theme, it would be “Secret Garden.” We think she pulled it off. By the way, their reveal reminded us why we love planning pre-ceremony couple photos.

With it being an extra-long Washington’s summer day, the wedding lasted long into the evening with little change in sunlight. There was plenty of room under the white tent for great food, catching up with old friends, and lots of dancing.
