So THIS was cool.

We recently got an invitation from Monica of Family Affair Photography to work with her, Vanita Sloan (makeup artist), and Stephanie Miller (model) to get some beautiful bridal photos for a new wedding venue in Sumner, The Winsome Grace.

And now I've got to gush about this place. It's a 130-year old Victorian-style mansion filled with gloriously decorated rooms, hidden hallways, rooms behind bookshelves, and 20 years of owner Duane's heart-and-soul renovation. I was there about a month ago for a walk-through with my wedding networking group, and they knew I would drool pretty much the whole way around.

Needless to say, I jumped at the chance to work with Monica, Vanita, and Stephanie to capture the beauty and wonder of this place.

Below are photos from about two days of photographing: a Monday shoot wherein we worked with the model, and a shoot on Wednesday when I went back alone to capture more of the venue itself.

If you're looking for a classy, lovely location, look no further. Almost every single couple who's taken the tour has booked. If you visit, you'll see why.

Even these photos here are only a fraction of what Winsome Grace has to offer. Some of the things NOT pictured here include a spa, sauna, hot tub, Japanese garden, and more.
