Even if the weather’s getting colder and pumpkin spice lattes are making their appearance once again, we’re still in the middle of the busy season. Believe it or not, September is a busy month for weddings, and I’ve been backed up with literally thousands of photos to sort through and edit. That’s why we’ve been a little quiet on our blog lately. The good news is that we have a LOT of photos to share with you, and we’re going to start today with an engagement shoot we took a few weeks ago.

We met Natalie a little over a year ago at her sister Emily’s wedding (you can revisit that day here). When Natalie contacted us a few weeks ago, we were thrilled to hear that now she’s the latest bride in her family! In December, Natalie will be marrying Nathan, a financial planner who likes to make lists, as you’ll see below. We meet a lot of couples who seem perfect for each other, and these two are no exception. We had a blast watching them interact and be themselves out at Fort Steilacoom Park. Oh, and if we had any doubts about their compatibility, we learned that they have the same initials, and the same first three letters in their first names. We don’t see that very often!

Although these photos were taken in August, the day was mostly cloudy, threatening to rain the whole time. Yet that didn’t stop us from capturing what truly mattered—Natalie and Nathan and their relationship.
