High school seniors are unique, and their senior portraits should reflect their individuality. Yet sometimes that individuality can't be contained in a standard senior session, and we need to create a special session or series of sessions.

That's what happened with Victoria, better known as Missy. She and her mom chose us to take Missy's senior portraits after we did a session with her brother Jason a few months ago. Jason's session was one hour long, and that was enough for what he wanted. Missy, however, wanted more; she wanted a variety of settings, outfits, and even weather. Because of this, she and her mom talked to us about creating a package fit for her needs. Instead of the normal one or two hours, we did three separate hours, each on different days and at different places. Because we had a full hour at each location, we were able to capture each facet of Missy's personality without feeling rushed.

For the first hour, we shot during sunset at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood for a sunny, slightly country feel.

The second session was spent on a foggy morning at Wright Park in Tacoma for an autumn tone.

Finally, for the third set we went to Sparks Stadium in Puyallup for some fun shots to spotlight Missy's cheerleading.
