If you’ve been following our blog, you know we love to do photo shoots in locations that are fun and personal for the couple or family. We’ve shot in a newborn’s nursery, in a bowling alley lounge, outside the Seahawks stadium, and in a bakery, to name a few special spots. Jeff and Danielle’s location was one we hadn’t tried before, and we were excited for the opportunity. However, it also proved to be one of the most difficult shoots we’d ever had.

The Experience Music Project is an amazing museum for rock ’n’ roll fans like Jeff and Danielle. But part of its ambiance includes very dim lighting. Fortunately, they do allow photography. However, due to the nature of the museum, they don’t allow flash or the use of tripods. If you know anything about photography, you know that this creates some very big challenges for a photo shoot. Still, we wanted to make a great engagement photo experience for Jeff and Danielle, so we decided to go forward with their idea and shoot at the museum. While it was a challenge, we all had a lot of fun, and the couple is very happy with the results.
