One of the more rare and enjoyable aspects of my job is when I get to work with a family more than once. Last year, we got to work with Michael & Stephanie Rogers and this year, we had the delight of working with Michael's brother Matt and his beautiful bride, Keri!

It's a bit of a trip seeing familiar faces and getting to work with folks more than one again. it's also nice because they're already used to my hurried instructions and auction-barker pace of speech when working through the formal photos. 

But I digress. Matt & Keri had their wedding ceremony and reception on the grounds of the beautiful Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville, WA. It's quickly become one of my new favorite places to shoot, as the grounds are filled with antiques, beautifully decorated rooms, and all sorts of nooks and crannies to explore. Take a look at the photos and you'll see what I mean.

Matt & Keri's ceremony was performed by Matt's father. It was a touching tribute to the reality of Matt & Keri's love for one another, as well as a charge to graciously and humbly lay down their lives for one another in their coming years as husband and wife. Some ceremonies, more than others, can be a joy and a delight to listen to, and this was definitely one of them.

Congratulations again, Matt & Keri! It was our pleasure getting to work with you two and your families. May your marriage have many joyful years ahead!
