When Josh asked me to take his family's photos, at first I was excited. I've really enjoyed getting to know him through networking meetings over the last few months, so I loved the idea of getting to meet his whole family. Yet that excitement was tinged with fear as I realized that he has not one, not two, not even three or four, but FIVE boys. 

There is nothing wrong with a family of boys. They're a lot of fun to work with and usually end up with a completely different flavor than most other family sessions. However, depending on the kids, one hour of family photos can be trying for five active young men. That's why I was thrilled when, much to my delight, these kids ended up being some of the best behaved little guys I've ever worked with. They were very respectful and did a great job in front of the camera. Even the smallest guy tried really hard to smile, and when he tried to throw a fit it was just so darn cute.

Now, the good behavior was definitely helped by Josh's location choice. We met at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup, where the kids could have an entire football field to themselves. The family came decked out in their Seahawks gear, and the whole family played a quick game of football. It was a perfect choice! Everyone had a great time, and really, what more could you ask for?
