Mikal & Hannah's Long-Awaited Wedding

July 26, 2013  •  1 Comment

Hannah and Mikal’s wedding has been long anticipated, and not just by them. My wife has known Mikal for almost six years now, and I met him around the time I met my now wife. In fact, before my Hannah and I were dating we were hanging out with Mikal at Marymoor Park (sound familiar?) when we saw a wedding photographer taking bridal party photos. Mikal turned to me and said, “You’re going to take my wedding photos.” Never mind that he hadn’t met his future wife yet, nor was I a full-time photographer or even a college grad yet. He chose me. I held onto his promise loosely, though; promises like that can’t always be kept.

Well, fast forward 4½ years to July 13, 2013. Mikal is finally getting married to his own Hannah, and we do have the honor of being his wedding photographers! We couldn’t have been more thrilled to have such an honor to share in the behind-the-scenes activities: getting ready, a limo ride to Starbucks, a reveal under the trees at High Cedars Golf Course, family photos, using the golf cart for the bridal party. The ceremony and reception felt like a family reunion as we saw friends from years past and we all celebrated the marriage of Mikal and Hannah. At the end of the night, through a tunnel of bubbles they skipped to their car as one of the happiest couples on earth.

It was worth the wait.

Whether you’ve been waiting ten years or one month for your wedding, we’d love to capture it for you. Contact us today for a consultation!

Thank you, Jason and Hannah for the permanent record of our daughter, Hannah's wedding to Mikal. My first comments were compliments on your ability to capture not only the images, but the feelings and emotions that we shared that day. Thank you for capturing our special day. I know that each time we view the images we will feel what we felt that day, as well as be reminded of how beautiful an event it was.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Kathleen
