An Olympics Nursery for a Studio: Rockwell’s Newborn Photos

October 24, 2012  •  Leave a Comment

You know what’s been one of our favorite parts of our LivingSocial deal? The variety of clients we’ve able to serve. We’ve had extended families, small families, families with dogs, high school seniors, and a one-year-old, to name a few. This post, however, is about the youngest one of all—Rockwell.

We were really excited to take photos of one-week-old Rockwell. Who doesn’t like visiting a newborn? His parents had a great idea, too. Instead of moving him to a strange place or a potentially rainy park, they asked us to come take photos in their home. This way we could photograph Rockwell relaxed in his Olympics-themed nursery, along with his grandparents and the family cat and dog. He was a great model!

Getting photos of your newborn can be a challenge, but making your baby as comfortable as possible can make the experience a pleasure instead of a pain. So, before the shoot, make sure your baby is well fed and well rested. Also, if it’s a possibility to have your photo session in your house, go for it. You’ll appreciate having the changing table handy!
